I've never had a moment, when Jesus wasn't there.
I've never had a moment, when Jesus didn't care!
I've never been disappointed in Jesus' loving way.
He said he'd never leave me, so he guides me through each day.
It's so wonderful to know him; to feel his presence near...
to know he keeps his promises; to know he always hears.
Don't you want him to be your darest friend?
To know that he will keep you with him to the very end?
You may face many problems, that you can't see your way through.
Just know he's the solver & healer, his power & strength are for you!
Listen to the savior he wants to hold your hand.
His love is never failing he will lead you to the Promised Land!
Dlon't ever be afraid to trust him, he will never let you down.
He will lead you home to Glory, & on your head he will place a crown.
He & the father are waiting with open arms for you.
Never let doubt & fear enter in, but let your Faith see you through!

Matthew 3:11-17
In the beginning of chapter 3 of Matthew, John the Baptist was preaching the message of repentance & was baptizing those confessing their sins.
(11) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: (12)Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (13)Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. (14)But John forbad him, saying I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? (15)And Jesus answering said, "Suffer it to be so now for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness." Then he suffered him. (16)And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water and lo the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: (17)And lo a voice from heaven saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
I can't imagine how John must have felt to be in the presence of Christ, then the honor of baptizing him. To witness the Holy Spirit magnified in Jesus Christ! What a humbling reading.
I pray that all I do daily would be pleasing to my heavenly father!
Be A Blessing!

Geneology....of Christ
God Bless you & Good Morning,
I had a revelation last night to start fresh anew with the New Testament.
The book of Matthew, chapter 1. In verses 1-16 is the earthly geneology of Christ. Continuing with 17-25:(17)So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
(18)Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.(19)Then Joseph her husband being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
(20)But while he though on these things behold the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying: Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.(21)And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.(22)Now all this was done, that if might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying.(23)Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.(24)Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:(25)And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Many years ago, when I was in school, we were asked to complete a "Family Tree". For me I had 2 families: my adopted family & my birth family. Of course at that time I didn't know very much about my birth family, so I completed it on my adopted family. I was always curious about my birth parents, but was always told I was special because I was "chosen" to be adopted.
Mary was chosen to give birth to Jesus, who was sent to save us from our sins. We are adopted into the family of Christ, through our repentance of sins, and our faith and belief in Jesus Christ. We are all special, chosen, brothers & sisters of Christ!
Allelujah! What a geneology we have!
Praise the Lord!

Humble...To Serve
James 4:6-10
"6)But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7)Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8)Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9)Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10)Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."
When we do good for others, we are sharing the love of Christ. As humans we can let pride get in the way of our blessings. We may feel that we "deserve" the credit or boast just to receive praise; that is pride; that is sin. I am guilty of this some times. I am a sinner saved by Grace...as much as I need! It fills my heart to share the love of Christ!
Unto All...Be a Blessing!

Psalm 119...Precepts, Statutes & Testimonies
Psalm 119 is so deep with emotion, at least for me. As I mentioned in my post on our FB page, I've been studying this chapter for a few days, with the words: precepts, statutes, & testimonies reaching out to me.
We are taught to study the Word; hide it in our Heart; teach it to others-testify.
Psalm 119:2-6 "2)Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3)They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. 4)Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. 5)O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! 6)Then Shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments."
The precepts & statutes are the commandments & laws that God has given to protect & guide us through this life. It will not always be smooth sailing. The more we meditate in his Word, the greater our trust & faith in God becomes!
Seek him whole heartedly!

Letting Purpose Find You
So many people will ask others how to find purpose in this life. Motivational speakers make millions of dollars pretending to answer this question. The truth can be found in Scripture. Psalms 37:23 says “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” If we are following God, we do not need to spend our lives seeking out our purpose. Purpose will find us. If we walk the path that the Lord has laid out for us, we will step right into our purposes in life. Therefore be not afraid. God has a destiny for us all; all we are required to do is accept it once He gives it. He has already left His footprints; we need simply to follow after them.

Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord
Healing is for the Country
As well as for the lonely soul
Jesus is the Great Healer
Only He can make us whole
There is Healing in Prayer
A talk with our wonderful Lord
check out what He asks of us
It's all in His Holy Word
Our Country has forsaken God
to go their sinful way
But God says "If you seek Me
You will know I'm with you today!"
So, come on America---Wake up!!
Let God back in our schools-
Follow the Great Shepherd
and obey the Golden Rule
If Israel was chastised
Because of disobedience and sin
Then how can we expect Him
To heal us and bring us in
God will help us in the war against Satan
A Glorious Victory to Win

Fear Not
Psalms 91:4-6 says this:
4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Notice that the scripture lets us know that we need not fear. Notice also that it actually commands us to fear not; "Thou shalt not be afraid." Whatever fear may be nagging at you, whatever irrationality that may be following you can be defeated by faith.
Do not forget who the author of fear is. One of Satan's most powerful tools is fear. But also remember what James 4:7 says:
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Take comfort in that verse, but never overlook the first sentence. We must be fully submitted to God and walking in His light if we expect to foster the kind of faith required to resist the enemy.
Foster your faith, church. Do so by hearing and studying God's Word. Your most paralyzing fears will soon become forgettable echoes in your past.
God bless,

Leave Your Signature on This Earth
Almighty God has left His signature on this Earth many times. By creating something from nothing to bring this world into existence, He left His signature. By sending His son to shed His blood to wash away our sins, He left His signature. God makes an impact on this Earth with every passing moment. Church, we are made in the image of the Creator. We too, have the power through our Lord to leave our signature. We have the opportunity to help those in need. We have the opportunity to bring hope to the hopeless. Let us walk in our Father's footsteps. Let us leave our signature on this Earth by changing it one day at a time.
God bless you all,

I Live to Serve...Teach Me Thy Ways O God!
Psalm 119: 57-68
57)Thou art my portion, O Lord; I have said that I would keep thy words. 58)I intreated thy favour with my whole heart; be merciful unto me according to thy word. 59)I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies. 60)I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. 61)The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. 62)At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. 63)I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts. 64)The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes. 65)thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word. 66)Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. 67)Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. 68)Thow art good and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
We have been given the ability to make our own choices. The more we study the Word of God, the more the Spirit will guide us to make the "right" choices. Knowledge is so powerful, and the Word of God is Knowledge. As the first part of verse 66 states, "Teach me good judgment & knowledge:" Hide his Word in your heart today!
Prayer: Lord as we humbly come before you this day, your servants. We ask you to lead, guide & direct us in all that we do. Thank you Father for this opportunity to share the message with others through this technology. Lord may we give you All the Glory for your many blessings, in the Precious Name of Jesus. Amen!

Putting on the Armour of God Daily!
This Blog has been born of the collective minds of the members of New Life Covenant Church, located in Carbondale, Illinois. We would like to invite you to come to the table, hungry for spiritual food, found in the Word of God.
Starting with Ephesians 6:5-20
5) Servants be obedient to them that are your masters according to to the flesh with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 6)Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7) With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men; 8) Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. 9) And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening; knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. 10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11) Put on the whole arour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. 14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19) And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. 20) For which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
This chapter and verses reflect the vision and message that inspired the naming of this blog. As the Knights of the round table fought for their King; We will be putting on the Armour of God Daily to fight the evils of this world & bring Glory to Christ our King.
